I think there was a thread on this earlier I'm the month.

I was able to switch my $45 unlimited minutes/1GB plan to the 500 daytime minutes/2 GB plan, with a $5 monthly credit.

So same $45 price for 2GB, just reduced my daytime minutes to 500. Wasn't going over 500 daytime anyhow.

for existing fido customers... just ask them to switch to $45 or $50 loyalty plan... which contain 2G / 3G data with unlimited minutes/texts
both of plan are still available, just switched to $45 from $50 plan minutes ago.
Thx OP, bought 10!

nope, most of them know those two loyalty plans now. but there is still a chance that some rep. may not know about it and need to check about it (and still can't find it... ), just talk to another guy, isn't hard to get it now.
but you need have to been fido customer for 3 months / half year(some rep. may say so)...

mention Wind competitive plan if the rep. dont know about it.

Thanks. I've been with Fido for like 3 years, which's like eternity these days. I JUST switched to the $40 500min/1GB plan though.
Don't really care about minutes, but 2GB will be nice. Have to decide keeping $5 vs 1GB extra.... hum

For existing Koodo customers, can you just make the switch online without having to call in?

Will this work if you've been a Fido customer for 3-4 years and on a 2-year contract?

Thanks for the heads up. I never use many minutes so saved $7 a month for the same amount of data.
