[Koodo] YMMV - Koodo $75 for 15gb (Ontario)

I received a call out of the blue from Koodo today offering to upgrade my 10gb/$60 medium tab plan to 15gb/$75. I have been using a lot of data lately so I guess that's what prompted the call. Plan comes with the usual: unlimited Canada wide calling, caller ID, etc.

I ended up passing and they said I could call back if I changed my mind. Not sure what's going to happen with the price of the existing plans but if they jack it up like the other carriers have already then this plan wouldn't be that bad.

Big YMMV of course. I'm in Ontario. Happy negotiating.

good deal since they are upping the $60 10gb plan to $70.

You should change it now before it is too late.

Bell/Virgin and Telus/Koodo are upping by $10 around April or May.

Rogers/Fido already raised by $5
Koodo hasn't announced anything, only Telus.

Holy Moly, that's expensive!
I guess it depends on one's perspective. Some folks are paying that much for 4gb of data.

If Bell can give the GoC $10 for 5GB of data and still make a profit, I'm sure they all can on the personal plans as well

Way too much, unless you need that much data in a month.
Also the Rogers & Telus are offer the same plan for $5 less per.

You’re saying Rogers and bell offer 15g for $70? With unlimited Canada wide talk etc?

In ON or other province? Have a friend looking, never seen that pricing here.

I have never seen Koodo raise the price of an existing plan I have. They discontinue, but never change them.

Source; I have 7 plans with them

What's the point of making comparisons with other country cell phone plans when nobody is going to move just for that? Plus Australians need all the savings they can get to pay for the luxury of electricity.
