They were not lying. This offer is not from regular retention team. It's like from another special team.
They also told me the 10 GB for $15 add on does not exist. I have seen tons of posts here and elsewhere referencing that add on.

I current have 7GB/M at $48 BYOD, I was offer 12GB/M for $60 a month ago, I barely used over 5gb each month, but 10gb for $39 is great, time to called in and complains. LOL

Crazy amounts of data. Personally I consider myself a heavy user of data (I listen to youtube while driving to work), and I have never gone over my 10gb that I currently have with Koodo. 10gb seems to be the sweet spot.

*I actively switch my YouTube to 144p when driving so not to waste data streaming at HD levels.
So you're watching YouTube while driving.... I do the same when I'm in a car (when I'm not driving myself).

What speeds are people getting? I'm locked to 3.3Mbps on LTE testing using fast.com . Looks like koodo is throttling these large data plans. I'm on $60 for 15Gb.

Move to Toronto and it will triple the data you need during your commute :)

No they aren't. I've had speed test with over 300 Mbps.

I called out on Koodo for lying to me, they claim their sites are what's available to them and I called out their bullshit as I got from retention their $75 15gb a year ago and that wasn't on their site. They then said the marketing can offer different unadvertised plans but by then I said well you can't offering me what I want so I left Koodo. I took freedom plan and happy with them so far. I got a cheaper plan and a free S10e, not looking back.

I found the attitude of the Koodo CSR infuriating. He was essentially telling me that I was a liar, and that everyone who posts about their plans on RFD or elsewhere is a liar, and that any screenshots of people's plans (such as the one in the first post of this thread) are photoshopped. Frankly it is insulting, and they should just admit that a plan is not available to a particular customer rather than making up BS about something not existing.

Just missed a call from Koodo. Do I call back or are regular csr's not able to offer this? Should I just wait for another call from the promo department?

Called, no dice, csr told me to wait for another call from their "promotions department".
