In my personal experience, even if you live next door it’s not worth the lineup. I never actually waited in line, but looked like there was easily 200+ people in line once at the Heartland location. Imagine how long it would take you to get to the front - and in this case, in the cold.

Actually that might be the only deterrent that could help your chances to get this deal without a lineup; most people won’t be able to handle the cold.

used to be NO line up 4, 5 years ago at Heartland.
the lines were insane when i drove by around late afternoon 2 years ago, walkin or drive-thru.

I'd rather pay full price and not having to wait a couple hours in line. But then i don't eat that much to justify paying full price, so haven't got KK for 2 years

Pretty simple, you do grocery shopping. At the check-out, and you ask "How much is it?", do you expect a total calories count as an answer? Or do you expect how much money you have to pay?

There were like 30 stores across Canada at one point. I think the goal was to open 50 within 5 years of the first store opening. Then the low carb craze took hold and store overhead was too costly while sales declined. There were rumours a few years back that more stores would be opening in the GTA but nothing really materialized.

Not really that great of a product either IMHO, and Tim's is such a strong brand here.
The only cool thing was the free fresh donut while standing in line.
Closed over 10 years ago in Calgary. Time flies.

Weren't they down to just one store in ON at one point? I thought they were going under but looks like they've opened up more now?

Get outta here. Don't insult KK with Tim Hortons.

Too bad they keep jacking up the price. It was $9.99 for a dozen just a year ago.
