FYI select CA version to get the 30% discount.

Note: US$70 not Canadian.

Thanks OP!

I guess I don't need another raspberry pi. But, it would have been such a great price

Is it easy to work on one without an external monitor?

I paid the same kit for $114 CAD on amazon.ca a year ago.
For ~$87 CAD it is a decent deal.

The kit is fine, but the power supply is weak compared to the official psu - you cannot use unpowered 2.5inch USB3 HDD reliably.
The case is ok but the fan failed within a year.

Just sharing my experience. I wrote this in a previous post the last time they had their sale. I would be Uber cautious buying from them directly. I had so many issues with this thing shipping. Order was open for days until I asked for a status, they couldn’t find it then found it. Said they shipped but it didn’t ship. They went silent for a good 3-4 days. I just told them to cancel it if anybody was monitoring their emails and had to recover the funds from my cc. Some had an ok experience but mine was terrible.

You can ssh into it if you don't need GUI.
For added security, disable root access, change the port number and use key authentication instead.

I had problem with one occasionally but ok with another. I just use 2 powered HDD now as NAS.

Approximately $87.80 CAD after currency conversion, with free shipping. Unclear how tax/import fees are handled because they don't appear in the total.

Note that the case and fan it comes with are terrible. I have one of these kits I got off of amazon and the pi barely screwed in to the case and I removed the fan completely because it was so loud. That being said, the pi itself is good and the heatsinks give enough cooling for most tasks.

When I use Paypal conversion it showed up as CAD$91.xx... I opted to pay in USD with my CC and the conversion was $87.90... so it depends with the CC too as some may charge extra for conversion...

It would be decent if it is a thunderbolt eGPU enclosure with desktop grade 3080 on PCIE.
Not a proprietary stuff like this.

Bought directly from them last year. However one of the fans failed.

Unless it's cheaper as a bundle, go piece together your own Pi.
