Still overpriced. Couldn’t justify spending hundreds more than a Columbia jacket for the same quality product.

Men's Atom LT Hoody only $179 for red in medium. Not bad, I paid almost that much for one at their factory store boxing day sale.

That is great price if you are ok with colour. I paid $199+tax when Sporting Life had 20% off and additional friends and family discount in the fall.

Yup, that colour is obviously not popular. Luckily I don't wear that sort of thing around town and for winter back country stuff a bright colour is a good idea. I paid $160+tax but had to stand in line for 20 minutes to get into the factory store for that sale.

I find it strange when people comment on things when they don't know anything about it.

You pay for what you get....I had my Arcteryx jacket for 3 years, zipper broken, sent back for repairs...guess what, they said I can pick a free jacket of equal price or pay for the difference. Sweet!

Same thing with me, my Theta AR I got at a factory sale for $250 in 2009, the seam tape started to peel. (I actually asked how much a repair would be as I believe it started happening after I washed it) It was sent off for repair and they instead replaced it under warranty. Due to no stock I got upgraded to an Alpha SV and this was 7 years later...

Had a Fission SV for three years now, best jacket ever, super light and warm. Picked up a Macai jacket for my dad for only $659. It usually goes for $1100.
Thanks for the deal.

Got an Arcteryx Atom LT - best light jacket I've ever owned!

With that said, anyone ever tried going through Arcteryx warranty? It got a little ripped from moving some furniture the other day :(

Got two Ceriums LTs in different colours. This is such a versatile, light and good looking jacket that fits like a glove - it will take you anywhere from cool springs and falls all the way to -10C easily in the winters. I even wore it when we had -20C weather and as long as there is little to no wind at that temp, you will be comfortable.

Do any of these jackets look good with a dress shirt and tie underneath?

I find that wool jackets are not the warmest (and are the worst when they get wet) and wearing business attire underneath a parka usually looks odd.

I only see women's Cerium LT on sale. I ended up with the Thorium AR Hoody.
