laid off in any ways by covid19 and want to change job/career

Hi,

I was curious on people who got laid off in any ways by covid19... temporary or permanent laid off

Since people pretty much staying at home ... Are some of you guys taking this time to reflect on what you want to do or try to change your job or career by learning something else to obtain a job/career in something different or industry?... Or start up a business?

With things shutdown and no sign of our “leaders” wanting to reopen, all is pretty useless.
Do not waste money on learning courses at home. We don’t even know what will be left if they keep extending emergency state every 2 weeks
Go on ei or cerb at home, save money and do not spend it on useless courses and/or unnecessary stuff. You can learn on youtube perhaps for free but when you cant be hands-on, its futile.
If you need some work, try the grocery or hardware stores, walmart etc

Whatever people may say...until you retire you might not have this much free time on your hands so do something useful w/ it.
I am fortunate to be able to work remote (for now...) and am studying to take the Amazon Cloud Practitioner exam on my free time.
Will it get me a better job in down the road? Hopefully but if not I will be able to say I did accomplished something besides watching Netflix
