Laptop for child starting highschool

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone would know a good laptop that can play League of Legends and Valorant at pretty good quality with high frame rate. It's going to be my little brother's birthday gift, he's just starting highschool and doesn't have a computer. He definitely needs one with all the word processing and projects there are in highschool. As well as probably needing a webcam for online classes, i'm not sure how highschool is going with the pandemic. He plays LoL and Valorant with his friends which I encourage because having friends is important as a teenager.

I was thinking something under $500. If it's possible.
