laptop - Need some help

Hi,

The battery on my Asus zenbook ux305fa is done but thankfully it works while plugged in. It's quite old so I wouldn't mind a refresh but there are too many options and I don't know much about computers. Please help!

I *think* that I need:
- Two old school USB's - one for the computer/mouse (logitech receiver) and one for things like external an hard drive and other random stuff. I read that the receiver is better than bluetooth for mouse/keyboard.
- It would be nice if the power was feeding of usb-c since I carry a power bank for my cell phones (Anker PowerCore 10000 PD). Not sure how much power it would give me though.
- HDMI output would be nice (currently have micro hdmi and it's fairly flimsy). I use an external monitor when at home.
- size around 13''-15'' but I'd like for it to be light (2.5lb or less) since I often also carry my work laptop as well
- Budget is really flexible - let's say under 2k but I can spend more.
- Do any brands stand out for their "durability"?
- A deal would give me a warm and fuzzy feeling :)

Looking for some direction here...

Thanks in advance!

For durability and that budget, look at the Lenovo T series or the Dell Latitude 7xxx series.

You can certainly go cheaper, but you will be compromising on durability and screen quality.
