The fact that they did a timed sale with lowering % off just means I won't be buying anything.

I just purchased some items last week & now they're lower & no way to get the difference back... f'ers!

OP still earned a upvote IMO though

Yeah, this sort of pissed me off as well. I don't mind the 24/48 hour "flash sales", but this is heavily biased towards the east cost. The 20% sale was over by the time I opened my email this morning.

Besides the usual "know your size, all items are final sale" mumbo jumbo.

I would wait for a "non promo code" sale, since you can't stack promo codes.

The jacket i bought is 40% off right now.

when i purchased it the jacket was 50% off, the promo was 20% off when spending over 400$, then i used news10 for another 10% off (its a forever code but thelasthunt give you the code when you email subcribe and tell you its only valid for 48 hours....shady) and the whatever ebates was listed at (2%)

What about the email about the sale from yesterday?

That site is a rip off. I was eyeing 5 things 3 weeks ago, and now with this "SALE", every single item is a minimum of 10% more than it was 3 weeks ago. It's a fake sale.

Yep I have noticed as well but 20% is the highest I've seen them offering and it covers for the price difference you see today vs previous pricing.

Yup :/ Checked out things I was interested in last night, and golly gee, things got a little more expensive so that their sales just end up equaling the normal prices.

These people use a similar pricing strategy to sportschek.

Yup, the illusion of a sale will get a lot of people opening their wallets. I agree this store is crap. Too bad people fall for it, otherwise they'd change this dishonest practice.

I didn't receive any other email or headsup regarding the sale other than this morning. Strange, as I usually get something in my inbox from them every day. Yesterday, I only got one of those uncomfortable "Still on your mind?" emails that reminds you that they are monitoring every thing you browse through on their site.

20% is back, but only for mid layers and base layers and such.

Should be against the law - bought cycling tights last week, 109.99 less 10% for 98.99. Today they are 131.99 so at the 20% this morning they would have been $105.59. Rip off.

It's called The Last Hunt because you hunt for bargains. Used the 20 off to get 48.7 off Veilance that's about the deepest discount it goes.

This site is not a rip off. If the price is not right, just don't buy it. Most of the stores have tactics to boost sales.
