I got Bavaria Ultimate low carb Canada Day weekend for the tall boy ‘buck a beer’ pricing. Wondering what we’ll see this weekend.

Edit: it was Dab Ultimate

Thanks OP.

I hope they cut down on the packaging for these packs and/or offer bigger packs. A ridiculous amount of cardboard goes to waste for 4 beers.

I got some of that too. Very, very light tasting. But easy to drink, and at least not off-putting. I'm hoping the regular Dab tall boys go on sale this weekend, that's my favourite of the buck-a-beers.

Closest we got is mini cans, and that's still more expensive.

Maybe our absolute cheapest beer isnt as cheap, but we have decent beer for not much more
Session IPA for $1.21 per 341ml bottle equivalent
http://www.bcliquorstores.com/product/127109

or if your goal is to get drunk,
7% beer for $1.99/500ml is equivalent to 97 cents for a 341ml 5% beer
http://www.bcliquorstores.com/product/52423

I like this 8% DIPA, $2.39 for 500ml

Very drinkable when near freezing cold. I like it better than some of the other buck beers Bavaria and No Name

if you are looking for low carb beer then this Cool Beer is actually pretty low carb - only 4 grams per bottle compared to 10-12 for most regular bottles

any downside to ordering this online and picking up in store? Last time I went, it was out of stock so I'm hoping to prevent this. Plus LCBO gives you air miles :D

No downside. It's actually what I usually do on these sales so I don't have to worry about it being OOS by the time I get there. They'll send you an email when it arrives, just go to the store, find an employee on the floor, and they'll wheel it out to you. You then do a quick checkout to finalize the paperwork and you're on your way.

Its cheap. For this price just get some laker and call it a day. The red is not bad and has some flavour. Only knock on buck a beer is it is kind of bland. But after the 12th one who cares. OPA.

Any other buck options been spotted?
I definitely don’t need one, so I’ll do the right thing and pick one up on my way home. 😎

**Just pick one and don't loot** 😠
