[LCBO] Free Stella Artois glass w/ 2 x 6 pack bottles

LCBO is offering a free Stella chalice as the latest beer freebie with purchase of 2 x 6 pack bottles ($15.95 each including deposit). I saw 3 different styles but could be more.

YMMV on availability, this was at Vic Park & Finch. Feel free to add any other beer freebies you find.

Edit: Tallboy cans were also right beside the chalices so should be fine to substitute, $17.95 for 6 x 473mL which is a better beer ratio.

For two six-packs, you pay $2.66 per bottle. For a 24-pack at beer store you pay $2.12 per bottle. So you're paying... (2.66-2.12)*12 = $6.48 for the glass... assuming you would want 12 additional beers. If you only wanted a 12-pack to begin with the glass is $2.40.

damn, i love beer math.
but for real, if you want the glass or you want to give a gift... might be the ticket.
good RFD decision either way. :)

When I was younger I got pretty good at beer math. But I didn't save any money, I just drank more :)

Cheap vs. frugal you guys...
Not me bruh, I'm the cheap guy that stocked up on Berliner, Bitburgers, and Ottawa's Schneider Brau (this one was free delivery too!) -- all RFD posts by our faithful frugal folk. My average beer is very cost effective at the moment. Keep up the beer posts my friends. :)

I received 2 of these glasses from Jack Astor's with a food order, around 2 months ago. Would buy beer to collect another 4.

I noticed on my last trip that a lot of 6 pack beers changed prices by a lot ($15 to $19 for 6 pack cans). I think I will go for cheaper beers next time like Lowenbrau which is $2.10 and honestly all these beers taste the same to me. I mean I am not having a taste contest here, only want to get drunk Face With Tears Of Joy.

Thanks for the calculations. You do get 2 glasses for the same amount of beer so usually worth it.

Edit: Beer store includes deposit, thanks Proxism

Beer store prices include deposit. They list the same 6 pack for $15.95, identical to LCBO.

I did this the last time this promotion came up and the employees don't care.
Bought 2 packs, got 2 chalices.

Then you should try Olde Style Pilsner. I always load up on various craft beers and keep a flat of these cheap boys around to mix in with them. Great beer for the price.

After all, what's the point of saving money if you're not gonna buy more beer Face With Tears Of Joy

Yup the staff are usually pretty lax, you can try for 1 pack but be prepared to adjust if you get called out. In past deals some people picked up freebies without buying a pack at all, which isn't cool and ruins it for legit buyers.

Saw these at my local LCBO.
It’s not the taller older style chalice, so I passed.

Does this deal require me to drink Labatt Stella? Because if it does I'm out.

Nope, you can dump the beer down the drain right after you buy. Take your glorious free glass and put in a display cabinet for all your friends to marvel at.

I think I just donated a few boxes of glasses I don't really need unless I have more than 100 people over.
