In Alberta Liquor Depot and affiliates have it for 54.99 a bottle.

I remember glancing at this in store a while back and just thinking it was a Christmas edition. Didn't notice the GOT reference.

I might try it now, would make a good rusty nail. Says it's a little sweet.

Any surprise that the Tyrell one is the best looking one? (at least to me)

I'd rather go for the Ommengong beer to satisfy my GOT itch with a marketing gimmick.

The Royal Lochnager and the Clynesh are very hard to get. Took me a week of constantly watching lcbo for stock and calling the store as soon as I saw some to hold the bottle for me to complete my set. And I had to drive way out of my area to get them. I don't know why but stock has always been very low for the Oban, the Talisker, and especially the Lochnager and Clynesh in Ontario.

This is all marketing. If you've looked at the American prices, one particular bottle had a 100% markup after conversion to CAD. I bought a set to put on the shelf but I don't plan on drinking it anytime soon. I bought a second bottle of the Oban/Nights watch which I do plan on opening on the season premiere however because Oban is my favourite distillery and I was sure I would like it. LCBO doesn't sell the scotches that most of these are relabels of otherwise I would just get the original label bottles and put them next to my GOT branded ones to sample.

Buggy166 wrote: At those prices, its pretty clear these are minimum quality, maximum marketing. One or two bottles might turn out to be ok. Out of that price, $20 USD is likely for the Game of Thrones marketing.

Lagavulin 9 year old is one of the more expensive bottles for $145. Should be $60 for something that low end.
It's Lagavulin 9 in the bottle???
That's a HUGE rip off then.

Oh i went on the website and checked it out. Really a rip off.
Lagavulin 16 for $20 more is a WAY better deal.

Come to think of it, why is this even in hot deals? This is clearly not a hot deal.

LOL just saw the prices in the US.

BCLD is a huge ripoff.. they’re marking everything up by like 100% for some bottles compared to US and 40% more compared to LCBO
