[LCBO] No Name and Laker Lager buck a beer ON only

Just saw that No Name and Laker Lager are on sale at the LCBO for the May 2-4 long weekend.
Bavaria Premium 500ml are on sale for $9.05 for a 6 pack, which is a better deal if you can find it.

Nice that they're putting it up a week in advance, would be even better if there were more options for buck a beer.
Isn't redundant to put "ON only" in the title of it says LCBO?

This weekend is the May-Two-Four long weekend so it's not a week early. Although May 24th is not until next Sunday.

Thanks, I'm in isolation so I'll ask the wife to pick up 2 of each for me and whatever she wants. Gotta get enough for the long weekend hopefully followed by post-isolation celebration.

+1 OP. Just picked up a few cases... they were 6 for $6... so yup... a-buck-a-beer!

Thought this beer would be watery swill, but it's pretty decent for 1/2 the price!

Tried No Name for the novelty, it's really not a great beer. Drinkable but boring and with an icky mouth feel. There's a reason many brewers stated they would not be able to profitably make a beer at this price last year. As for Laker, in my town it's basically a meme of a bad beer- it's only purpose is to get you drunk as cheaply as possible. My intoxicated patients from the mall drink Laker, specifically Laker Ice because it gets you drunk for a few pennies cheaper.

I've learned years ago that if you're sweating over saving a few quarters on a bottle of beer, you're probably taking the savings out on your liver- drink less and buy better beer with the savings.
