These 12 days of Christmas deals only last a day. This saucier has been highly rated by Cook's Illustrated in the past. Normally $320 marked down to $119. I already picked up this one.

I am hoping their rice pot gets included on one of the 12 days.

-- from the website saucier - chef's pan description
A saucier pan, also called a chef's pan, is designed with a rounded bottom and curved walls to keep ingredients moving. The flared sides facilitate easy whisking and stirring. It is particularly suited to dishes that involve constant stirring and complex flavours, such as sauces, risottos and custards. The addition of a Helper Handle (3.3L size) makes lifting easy when transferring a full pan and the ergonomic stay-cool handle makes maneuvering easy.

Reason: making this a general thread rather than specific to day 2, also second edit was to correct dates of promo period

The MSRP on the Le Crueset website is a little high. Normally these go for $200-250. This is still a great deal. I picked one up too. Thanks!

Any idea on what else would be on the 12 days list?

is there a video or better picture of this available, i am having a hard time judging the size.

Is this worth the money? I know their enamel stuff is pretty good, never heard their stainless steel reviews though.

I just weighed mine for you...it's a hair over 4 lbs with the cover. This is an incredible deal. I paid $199. I use this daily. The good thing about it is the curved bottom, makes for easy cleaning and really handy for making sauces, pudding, etc. I'm almost tempted to buy a second one.

Thanks! Im not too knowledgeable on pans. My mom has a gas stove, would this be ideal for it?

Zero issues running this on any burner type. If she's not used to using fully clad pans, i would start the heat on low - medium low. They can get really hot really quickly.
