Lenovo 14w laptop issue

Hi bought lenvo 14w windows laptop last year but power jack port is broken
Cannot turn up power

I am thinking giving up the repair which may be costly
but want to get the files and photos out of the laptop
How can I do that ?

You can remove the hdd or ssd from your broken PC and use external enclosure to copy data from it to another PC.

This.

I just migrated an older Asus laptop from a HDD to an SSD. Dropped the old HDD into an external enclosure and transferred the files back to the PC once Windows 10 was installed on the SSD.

Negative. The ssd (eMMC) is soldered to the board. lenovo-14w-tips-tricks-tweaks-accessories-2325613/

An option is to see if the batter can be charged without going through the laptop's USB-C charging port.
