Is this touch? Newegg page says no.
Through Lenovo FNDEPP this is priced at $729 with 4GB RAM and 23.0" All in One HD Multi-touch with integrated camera (1920x1080)

Agreed - I was wondering if newegg had a typo.

Depending on specific needs, buying through Lenovo may be preferred - for a $30 difference, one has to balance a touch screen versus a slower processor.

For me Win 8 demands a touch screen. I would also upgrade to a i5-4570T when they drop in price later this year (a supported processor for this series).

Bad batch maybe. I would still keep trying till I got a good one. There isn't much out there that compares.

Ohh that was you? haha. I was looking at the reviews on that one and your review made me worried about it.

Yes, that was me. :D

I could have tried for a 3rd unit but I didn't like the screen (even without the dead pixel) so didn't bother. Contrast and black levels was quite poor. Screens from Apple, HP and Dell AIO at Best Buy looked noticeably better. I figured I need a screen that I really like; being an AIO, you can't easily replace the screen if you become unsatisfied later down the road.

But like I said in the review, the customer service I received was excellent (personalized follow-up with the agent during the entire return process). I called to explain the situation before initiating the return because I wanted to make sure they won't charge me restocking fees. Return is easy, so it's worth a try to see it for yourself.

(Here's my post with screenshots of the deadpixel: lenovo-aio-c50-30-i5-23-hd-touchscreen- ... st22404009 )
