I found this laptop on the Lenovo Canada website to be comparable to the HP Stream 14 at the Microsoft Store with FHD screen, better processor based on benchmark (14xx for HP Stream vs 20×× for this one) but a weaker battery. It's still a full HD 1080 laptop for $240.

Seems like a good deal, I would take Lenovo over HP any day

Comes with Windows 10 Pro is a nice bonus - save us a few minutes

I got the Samsung one but I’m surprised how slow it is when using chrome and watching YouTube videos it stutters

Does it get better over time or did I get a bad batch ?

Computers rarely get faster over time. If you're unhappy with the performance I'd return it and look for something else.

Decent price although I would probably prefer this. Setup as a Chromebook.

Also, they lose credibility with this nonsense "Meets military-specification testing".

I might have to, i compared to my previous asus 64gb 4gb ram and n4000 , Samsung seems to be stuttering compared to the asus considering better specs

Something is wrong with your machine. Chrome works very well, and zero stutters with Youtube.

From personal experience. It sounds like the Laptop is performing updates/downloads for Windows or other software in the background. This is a main cause these machines.

In the tech spec, it mentions storage options of 64GB eMMC and 128GB SSD. Can 128GB SSD be swap or added to this model?

Go to settings and make sure you have all of the critical updates to your win10 Home.

I've added the WD Blue 250GB M.2 Sata SSD drive to the Samsung. So far this laptop seems to be working fine for my daughter.

I do think it's updates going on in the background that is making the unit glitchy.

You can disable the windows update and do it manually.
