On this screen (see screenshot), you'll see the actual status of your order, for example mine is saying "Released to Manufacturing" which means they are building the unit, my expected ship date was December 9th.

It's been stuck with the "released to manufacturing" message since shortly after ordering it. I asked Lenovo's support to follow up with the fulfillment center and was told it would take 24-48 hours (should be by the end of the day but I don't count on it at all) to receive a response with a more a detailed status update.

Option 1:
1. Create a Lenovo account
2. Connect to sales on live chat
3. Ask to get a quote for this unit by giving exact perkopolis link
4. Have the quote sent to your Lenovo account email address
5. Click the Lenovo Rakuten shopping link
6. On Lenovo website, click on my account (top right)
7. Find your quote and convert it to an order (make sure the store is "webca", if it's under "perkopolisgold" you will not get CB)
8. and voila!

Option 2 (tested this option and it does not work):
1. Install Rakuten.ca Google Chrome extension
2. Go to the Lenovo home page and activate cash back from the extension
3. Navigate to the perkopolis link
4. Add your product to the cart
5. Make sure the on the Chrome extension it says "Cash Back Active with a Shopping Trip ID" all the way through the final checkout step.

NOTE: Lenovo recruits only the most incompetent people in the world. get prepared for some suffering if you have to deal with customer service.

I happen to have an extra 90w power brick (from work) so I tested this hypothesis out using PassMark PerformanceTest.
There was negligible performance difference between 65w and 90w. In fact, 2d and 3d video performance fared worst on 90w. YMMV.

Note: This M75q Gen 2 does not support 135w, only 65w and 90w from the lenovo specifications. In comparision, the older M75q Gen 1 has support for 60w and 135w. I wouldn't risk connecting a 135w to the Gen 2 SKU.

I own the M75Q-1 3400GE version. If you follow-up on the posts about better GPU with the 135W PS, it was related to an incorrect version of the GPU driver. After all was said and done, a 135W PS was no better than the 65W PS. You can always use a higher wattage charger, if the output voltage is the same as your original you can run higher amps, the device will only draw the amount of power needed as it was designed.

Great to hear! I won't hunting for a different power brick, even though I won't be gaming with my unit, it wouldn't sit well that you are needlessly underpowering your computer for no reason.

I ordered it Dec 19th and the estimate originally said shipping in April, but I recently looked and it updated so that the $796 unit will be expected to ship on Jan 6, 2021, so no multi-month wait, if that was a concern for anyone on the fence still.

Don't think it comes with a video card.

Any reports on the new Gen 2 M75q-1? I'm thinking of upgrading if 4650 are "silent" for normal activity. I think this should be the case as its still 35W, similar to the older Gen 1 3400GE.

Gen 2 are the versions in this thread. The Ryzen 3 Pro 4350GE, Ryzen 5 Pro 4650GE and Ryzen 7 Pro 4750GE.

For those that bought this, it's nnow 704.70$ for that build. If you're in price protection period that's basically 100$ after tax. Price protection for those bought in holiday period is 30days or Jan 15.

If it's useful: The M90n I bought late last year supported 5120 x 1440 on the original drivers, but a windows update broke that. I was able to downgrade the drivers and get it working, but decided to return it.

This guy basically says there's no fan noise, which is consistent with previous reviews of the gen 1 units.

I received my unit yesterday but I won't have time until the weekend to set it up.
