[Lenovo Canada] HOT! Lenovo Ideapad 730s whiskey lake i5-8265U/FHD/8G/128G/1.1kg $748

Perkopolis EPP site has dropped the new Ideapad 730s 13.3' base model i5-8265U/FHD/8G/128G to $850. (or i7/16GB model $1134).
Regular site is about $100 more minus ebates.
eCoupon DECBUYSAVE works with this EPP price - this brings the price down the $748!!! or $950 for i7/16G/256G model

this is a much better deal than 720s, Asus Zenbook, or Surface Pro 5 gen imo.
Noted the IdeaPad 730s is the same as Yoga S730 outside US/Canada.
[*Yoga s730 has a 98% sRGB glass screen. the specs sheet confirmed the same screen is used: 13.3" (338mm) FHD (1920x1080), glossy, glass, LED backlight, IPS, 300 nits, 16:9 aspect ratio, 72% NTSC gamut https://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/TempFi ... 031744.pdf]

The OP's post says 256GB. But you're right, the $850 model is 128.

Edit: I see now, with the EPP discount the 256GB model is $850

Really tempted... but it's only 1920x1080. I think I'll hold out for an X1 Carbon.

I have the 720 through work and it's an EXCELLENT laptop. I would highly reccomend getting the 16GB of ram if you do anything remotely extensive (you cannot upgrade it after as it's soldered on!) the ram option I went with (8gb) is the ONLY regret I have about this machine

The X1 Carbon is also 1920x1080. If you want the WQHD (2560 x 1440) on the X1, the price jumps to $2100+.

It was $1580 with the HDR display (30% + 12% ebates) last week but waiting for a deeper discount.
