220 nits is a bit low so the screen could be dim. Just something to take note of.

I am thinking of getting a Lenovo Flex 14 for $400
1920 x 1080, 2.6 GHz AMD Ryzen 3 3200U, 256 GB SSD, 8 GB DDR4 SDRAM.

I just wonder is it worth it to pay $100 more for this machine?

The G1 graphical performance is comparable to a Vega 3.

The CPU performance will be superior on the OP laptop.

The Flex 14 provides 2-in-1 Touch Support, which is critically useful for slide transition presentations and table note talking using the Active Pen.

I personally would recommend the Flex 14, unless you have no use for the 2-in-1 touch feature.

Folks, you're 4 days too late for the in-stock S540 (14 AMD) for $624 + 9% Rakuten.

Time machine blah blah.....4 days......

Edited reason: Had price wrong

I think i5 is an overkill for a beater laptop.

I bought two of S340 ryzen versions for 400 and it's working amazing so far. I might have to return the other one still sealed back to microsoft as I only need one atm.

Does anyone know if you can return microsoft online orders back to store?

A friend brought it on boxing day. She needs numeric keyboard and wants to return it. She thinks is a good deal and asks me whether I want it. I have the Samsung flash with N400. I think they are almost the same and I don't know why I think the flex 14 is expensive.
