I haven't checked that specific brochure but I'm going in the opposite direction I think: laptop to desktop, for lightroom, because Ligthroom is slow on my XPS 9360.

Definitely a typo.

The 1080p screen would be my choice for any productivity work. For video streaming, either 768p or 1080p would be okay in this laptop class.

Note for those who plans to buy the low price models and upgrade;

Both the Ideapad 130s and Lenovo 14W has soldered ram.
There is a M.2 SATA slot for both models.

Typical inflated prices with big discounts... Prices are still way higher than around late October with their previous coupon codes... I'm starting to think I missed out big time :(

The $169 14W doesn't have M2 slot. They never put the parts in, only the print on the circuit board.
I am assuming the $129 130s will be the same.

I am not sure if the 130s can upgrade ram or not. They may do the same thing as 14W.

At the expense of no wifi capability.

They must, because they keep doing it. I was all in for a y740 and these price tactics now have me 100% off Lenovo altogether

Was looking to get the T730 with the 2080 and i9 but it’s only showing a deal for the 2070 version (which isn’t that good of a deal anyway)

i hear you. on page 26 there is a T730 with 16gb ram but a 2070 Super for $1999 which at least gets you the graphics punch of a 2080
