Stuck in a Box
It will be out of date in 2 months! Way too long of a shipping delay. Will pay more for another brand to get it now.

Definately, then two months after I receive that one, I will have to order a new tablet as that one will be out of date at that point. It sucks that tablets only last 2 months before needing replacing these days.

Purchased one mid January, still waiting for shipping. I hope it will run Linux apps.

How does this compare with the Fire HD 10 tablets in terms of performance?

Same processor, same screen (probably), same storage, 1 GB more ram on the Lenovo.

Battery is 6800mah on the Fire HD, 31.5whr on the Lenovo - someone can do the conversion but I think Lenovo has the larger capacity.

Has anyone tried running Zwift on the 10e? My smart trainer uses BLE and this Chromebook would be a cheap way to Zwift.

Thanks

Anyone who knows anything about CPUs knows that you can't do anything with a processor with 1 GB cache. This Chromebook/Tablet is a total waste of money. The very minimal amount of cache in a decent smartphone or tablet needs to be at least 2 GB of cache with 4 GB cache for better smartphones/tablets.

I'm super duper happy with mine. The thing slows right down if you have 20 chrome tabs open, but if you can keep this to a low number it's very pleasant to use.

I use it as a recipe tablet in the kitchen, and it's perfect for this application.

I don't think this is targeted at people who know/care about CPUs. Its a very slow computer, but it works and for many that's enough. With that in mind, I don't think you can get anything better for the price.

That's true and good point! My first gen. ASUS Zenfone has 4 GB of cache and I've been more than happy with the Zenfone for the last 5 years. BTW, once you add a virus program to the Chromebook/Tablet the Chromebook/Tablet become so slow it's practically useless.

Why would you run an anti-virus on a Chromebook?
