This is exactly what happened with Tigerdirect and the CyberpowerPCs. They even started a FB group and all. But in the end, nothing happened and i assume this will be the same.

Mass consumers are so powerless, they only have the initial buying instinct but not real bargain power. If half of these buyers are organized, situation would be much different.

Technically it isn't your money. In your cardholder agreement that money belongs to Visa/MasterCard which is why they take the risk of chargebacks.

Meh it'll all blow over, if they have good deals the consumers will come regardless, these days there's no loyalty to one company. Were all cheap a$$es looking for deals and will ditch a company in a heartbeat if they're overpriced regardless of the amazing deals they gave us in the past.
