Thread Summary
To get student discount to work, don't upload your unofficial transcript. I uploaded my confirmation of enrolment letter, waited for 30 minutes until someone confirmed it and then it worked for me

Last night, July 1 12 am, this went down to $316 when the 10% coupon and 12% rakuten went into effect.

There is an issue with charging MacBook laptops and possible HP and Dell laptops too with this monitor. Lenovo has confirmed the issue officially and has stated a firmware update will be available in approximately 4 weeks from July 15. If you need this to work NOW, do not buy this monitor until it is fixed. I will update this thread once I see and test the firmware - Renegade_R

if you don't need USB-C, then can save $60 with this
https://www.lenovo.com/ca/en/accessorie ... 65F4GCC3US

a more premium version ThinkVision with highly adjustable stand and USB-C for $390
ThinkVision T27h-20

ThinkVision with UHD (3840 x 2160) and USB-C, roughly $500
Looks good, except for the 4K version which is 6bit + FRC.

This looks like an awesome monitor for dual or tri monitor setup for productivity due to the sleek bezels. The VESA mounting location is interesting though, wondering how that'll impact the aesthetic of the whole setup once it's mounted.

Damn this looks really good. Charges at 80w too. My current Dell only charges my MacBook at 45w. Can anyone comment on the panel itself?

I looked @ the spec sheet and couldn't find info on height adjustment for this monitor. Does anyone have info on that?
