Reason: updated retailer name
Thread Summary
All new X and T series Lenovo Laptops have 32% rebate with code DEALMOON32.

Update: 15% Ebates Cashback Expired.
Use in conjunction with ebates.com on the Lenovo Canadian site to receive 3% cash back. Ebates.ca might give more or less, but check them out.

I recommend installing the ebates.com chrome extension or Firefox add-on, and then going to the Lenovo Canadian site. You'll see a small window appear that says Activate 15% Cash Back. Click that button and you're done. Your next order on this site will result in a 15% cash back.

Please note that DEALMOON32 is not a code that Ebates specifically endorses BUT a user confirmed that you can indeed get 15% cash back from using that code.

If DEALMOON32 does not work for your order, Ebates.com recommends: THINK30 and receive 30% off. Code expires May 13th.

BONUS DISCOUNT: This worked for me (SimonH78133).
After I placed an order on Lenovo with the 30% coupon code, I called their customer service line 1-855-253-6686. Pressed 1, then 4 I believe. I told them if I can apply the 32% coupon instead of the 30%, and they gave me an even better deal than 32%. I ended up saving around 35%. It could be YMMV but definitely call them if you've already placed an order.

If you do not see a cashback on Ebates from your Lenovo order in the next 72hours, feel free to contact Ebates at https://www.rakuten.com/help/missing-cash-back. Make sure you have the Ebates shopping trip number and Lenovo's email order confirmation.

Note on ebates.com (also called Rakuten.com) cash back for Canadian residents:

Rakuten.com Cash Back Balances are displayed in U.S. dollars, not Canadian dollars
Orders reported to Rakuten.com in Canadian dollars are converted to U.S. dollars
Rakuten.com Big Fat Checks are paid in U.S. dollars, so check with your financial institution regarding policies, fees and currency conversion
Rakuten.com PayPal payments are converted to Canadian dollars; please see PayPal’s User Agreement for more information

Can't believe this resolution still exits in 2019 Laptops:

ThinkPad X390:

13.3" HD (1366 x 768, 250 nits) anti-glare

Time machine is often the best deal, when the cost of everything increases over time.

Anyone have first hand experience with Lenovo warranties in Canada? If somethings wrong do you ship it to them and they repair it and send it back and they pay both way shipping?
Interested in the 3 year base/standard warranty that seems to cost 1 cent.

You probably need a time machine for a house, definitely not laptops or any electronics. I'd recommend being patient.

Oh man.

Super tempted to pick up an X390 or a 6th Gen X1 Carbon.

You're dead wrong - the cost of everything does not increase over time. This is an absurd fallacy that is easy to disprove. I won't even point out the obvious examples, that would include literally "everything" that can be purchased that has declined in price. In this context, does the cost of older tech increase over time? What about the average cost of a brand new computer over the last two or three decades?

How much is the University/Student ID thing on top. Is it worth the wait to verify?

I read online that the University/Student ID can't be stacked? Am I wrong?

Can we do the code + student + ebates?
