The link taking you from ebates to lenovo is not working now.kenchar wrote: ↑ Credit for this goes to electric0ant from the x1 Carbon 6th gen thread.
If you go through ebates, select Lenovo and when you are at the lenovo site search for x1 yoga 3rd gen. View models and work your right to the Silver version with 16gb ram and 3 year warranty. It will show a web price of $1819. Add to cart. Go to cart. If you have Student/Teacher etc discount click the link and sign in to your id.me account. That will give you the 5% discount. Then add THINK45 for the E Discount and you will have a price of $950.43 with the 5%. If you don’t then the peice should be $1000.45. Seems to only work on units that are Web Specials. You should then get the 6% ebates

Does this laptop have noisy fans when watching 4K netflix or youtube?
Any recommendations for a laptop that doesn't heat up as much or has quiet fans when watching 4K videos? TIA

Glad you got yours so quick. Was yours the black config 16/256 config, or the silver one?

I got the jet black version. It looks real good aesthetically, but my gripe is with it's keyboard. It's really mushy and offers no feedback. If it wasn't for that, this would be a really good purchase

I tested it on my friends Yoga. Seemed fine. Not as much travel as some other Thinkpad keyboards but definitely not mushy or terrible.
I’m happy for you getting yours quickly but sad mine is still stuck. Not sure what the difference here is. Thanks Lenovo.

Silver is still available. Search X1 Yoga 3. It is the second to last.

Thanks OP, was able to use my Lenovo discount and got it for 657 all in. Silver one is a way better deal, 3 year warranty on its own usually costs over $120 dollars.
