[Lenovo Canada] Not hot - Mods please remove

Thought this was a decent deal for the Premium line of IDEAPADS. Smaller form factor than the x1 carbon, rocking a 4k display. Glossy screen. Decent keyboard. Non-thinkpad. Very nice design and specs.

Beware of the 4-5hr battery life though.

Discuss.

There was that one Lenovo Yoga 2 weeks ago at Bestbuy that was $1000, 8th Gen i7, GTX 1050 4GB, 16GB Ram, 512GB PCIe SSD, 4K Display. Also came with 1TB External HDD and Google Home Mini.

Considering this is an 8th Gen i7 as well, I would say taking that into account makes this seem like not as hot of a deal.

This one?

Op got it for $1200. This one should come about to just above $1000 after ebates.

Didn't see the 1050 mentioned but oh well, its very competitive pricing. The only turn off of this deal is the 8gb ram.

Worse specs (and non-upgradable RAM) for it being lighter, thinner, and probably having better build quality. Not that bad if someone did want to buy a laptop with form factor > specs, but I find it hard to justify.

Edit: Looked at it again and it has no touchscreen on this specific model. I find this significantly harder to justify now.

It was posted to RFD after the price went up. It was originally posted on bapcsales at a cheaper price. Quickly sold out anyways though, I just mentioned it for reference. It was a super hot deal
