Price is significantly higher now, but at least it's back in stock.

The i5-1135G7/16GB/512GB/WQXGA (2560 x 1600) is selling for $894 (Edit: increased to $940 on May 10):
https://www.lenovo.com/ca/en/perkopolis ... XTBXTSI300

The pros of the Intel one is it has better display and Thunderbolt 4 port, though its CPU is not as good as the AMD one.
Specs of its display: 16:10, 2560x1600, 300 nits, Anti-glare, 1500:1, 100% sRGB, Low Power, Dolby Vision.

Rakuten cashback is YMMV.

April 30: Prices drops from $1120 to $1063.
May 1: Added the intel one.
May 10: Price drops from $1063 to $1007

hmm:
Dolby Vision™ 300 nits
Shouldn't it be at least 600+ nits to qualify?

This post is to report it is back in stock. When it was on sale for $868, it was sold out in one day.

For sure the deal is not as hot as last time. But given the specs, the price is not bad IMO.

Actually, it was on sale for a while and they kept replenishing stock sporadically. BTW, I use mine everyday and love it.

Out of curiosity, does the fan ever shut off completely? Like when idling? Any problems with the screen?

Also, if you are interested, and can wait a bit, there might be another sale starting on Saturday, May 1st. Lenovo likes to start sales on the first day of the month.

If you click the link in my signature, there are tips for managing the CPU better, which helps prevent the fan from randomly ramping up.

The sale I mentioned in my post is the one happened on March 1st. After that, it was out of stock for quite some time.

This could happen. If someone interested in this model, one possible strategy is to buy it now and request price adjustment when its price drops. If price does not drop, the laptop can be returned.

This model tends to sell out quickly when its price drops below $900.

The sale price of $868 started back in February (I think Feb 1st), and the Thinkbook 13s stock was being replenished randomly. The sale price increased by $100 for about a week (maybe less), and then it dropped back down to $868 until about mid-March. Even in March they kept replenishing stock, but it was in small batches. I would usually notice stock early in the morning, but they'd run out right away.

I wonder if they would match the price drop to their sale price, or their sale price plus the perkopolis discount.

Price drops by $60 (from $1120 to $1063). Still $200 above last sale price. Updated the OP.

It looks Lenovo is testing at what price this laptop can sell :-)

IMO the specs of this laptop are comparable to and on some aspects better than other Ultrabooks (e.g. the Dell XPS 13 selling for $1300 in the other thread). But I understand previous sale price set people's expectation on its price.

The coupon code now is THINKENDAPR. Let's see what's price when the code include "MAY".
