I configed an amazing T400 for $1131 tax included WOW!

Pretty amazing deals to be found at this EPP especially now with the free webcam and 250gb hdd!

Tip: Order the 2GB DDR3 SODIMM seperately in the accessories section of the sale. $34. There's a thread on that floating in the Hot Deals as well.

Not 100% true, it's sometimes better to order on the first day, especially when there is a price error, lolz. Like the T400 and Vostro 1320 price errors earlier in the summer :D

hmmmm...i must have a really special X200 laptop...I got mine right when it came out last year and I have a Intel T9400 2.53GHz CPU 1066Mhz 6MB L2 cache CPU. It was a free replacement for my X61. Lenovo doesn't seem to offer the X200 in this CPU for purchases

Actually, Lenovo initially planned for release of the X200 with the T9400 option. Cancellation emails went out to a lot of those that ordered regarding issues about heat/battery life. Lenovo decided that the T9400 was excessive and so, there is no longer a T9400 option. You might have one of the few configured T9400s. So ya, the T9400 was offered.

250G is good, but it's still 5400rpm, would the 160G 7200 rpm option boost performance significantly?

Yes but not to a OMGWTFBBQ I MUST UPGRADE stage, and it will also kill battery life.
