Thanks! Only 27% off right now. Hopefully will see better discounts in the next few days.
Might as well wait till BD.

I doubt it's gonna get cheaper though, boxing day is only 3 days away, most of the retailers have already announced their sale

was checking out RAM upgrades for my X1E. Mine came with a 16GB Micron MTA16ATF2G64HZ-2G6H1. After some digging, I found that this RAM has identical specifications as Samsung M471A2K43CB1-CTD00. Same latency, same speed, same pins, same voltage, same tRCD, tRP, and tRC. I suspect these RAMs are manufactured by the same company and rebranded as bigger brands and could work with each other.

Don't know why Lenovo customer service is so frustrating. My laptop was sent back to sender while in transit because of a missing invoice. The return to sender was successful and I submitted a reship case on Friday. Today (Monday) I inquire again to see why my order hasn't shipped since Christmas eve is a working day. The rep tells me there's no reship case showing on my order. So the rep submitted another reship case. Really considering just doing a return and buying a Surface Book 2 because of how frustrating Lenovo customer service is.

Is crucial the cheapest among these? Do you mind sharing the price you paid for the RAM?
It was the cheapest I could find and didnt seem to go on sale, I paid ~2$ more a few months ago. The alternative, as some others were doing were to buy a 32GB kit on sale and then sell the 16GB stick that came with their laptop.

In the market for an ultralight with solid display for photo editing and it's between the X1 Carbon and MXP rigth now. Currently X1 is at 29% off with 12% ebate for the X1 right now, is this not a decent price? Haven't seen anyone talk about it so I'm guessing it's standard?

Edit: Damnit Ebates dropped to 8% I should have pulled the trigger.

On BF it was 1200 with EPP. So not worth buying unless its equal or below 1200.

Thanks. Is BF the next cycle that it would drop to this price? If so might as well get it now as I can't wait 11 months. I'm new to the Lenovo stuff.
