[Lenovo Canada] Thinkpad P53 - 1394.5

Was browsing the web today and saw lenovo has this beast on sale for a great price 1394.55 before tax. (you CAN NOT combine this ibmepp with ebates) - choose the second one to customize. i personally would buy my own ssd and ram, so I picked the lowest on hdd and ram

See the spec below, too bad I got the Y730, otherwise I would get it without thinking. THIS IS A WORKSTAION LAPTOP, not for gaming, it is not light, but lighter than previous generations. 4 ram slots, one 2.5'', two m2 slots

What kind of use is this good for? For 3D renderings? For individual use even at this price, seems like a bit of a stretch and otherwise it would be you company getting it for you right?

it is just a powerful laptop, not limited to certain use case.

I am doing some study/exam, and need a fast cpu, large hdd/ssd, and 32G ram, and being able to move from home to office to timhortons, etc.

the P53 has re-designed thermal system, and no review anywhere yet. I have faith it will do a fine job.

also, I am happy with my Y730, runs very cool, and $1200 with lenovo smart clock, but windows 10 is so buggy
