Its in stock at a higher price though and the coupon (THINKBLACKFRIDAY) still works for me but it brings it down to $993.79. Too bad. The guy on the chat yesterday said it was out of stock which was clearly a lie considering a few hours later it returned. They just likely sold through the total units they allotted for the deal.

x13 gen 2 AMD - Build your own Link

AMD Ryzen™ 7 PRO 5850U Processor (1.90 GHz up to 4.40 GHz)
13.3" WQXGA (2560 x 1600), IPS, Anti-Glare, Non-touch, 100%sRGB, 400 nits, Narrow Bezel
32 GB LPDDR4X-4266MHz (Soldered)
256 GB SSD M.2 2280 PCIe TLC Opal
Windows 10 Home
IR&FHD Camera with Array Microphone
Fingerprint Reader
Backlit Keyboard - English
Smart Card Reader

$1,516.38
Ok you sold me on trying out my 5th Lenovo. They are gunna hate me lol

I ordered the version with the 1tb ssd for 1668 - an extra $150 vs build it yourself with a 256gb ssd but it should arrive much sooner

If the x13g2 with the 1600p low power screen doesn't skunk the T14s with the 4k screen on battery I will likely keep the t14s provided its better than the battery on my thinkpad 16p.

Did your returns go smoothly?
How long did it take to get the refund?

I can't believe they're okay with you just repeatedly ordering and returning, lol. Doesn't this cost them lots of money given they have to pay for the shipping to/from and then sell off the laptops as refurbished/used for a significant price hit?

Did the T14s ship yet? Expected arrival? Might get one too. Really good specs.

At this price with those specs I'd rather wait for next gen which should bring pretty big improvements for both Intel and AMD.

There will always be a reason to wait. Better to just buy what you need today. Besides, you can't expect BF sale prices for next gen stuff at launch. Not to mention there will be delays / part shortages next year as well. You keep waiting and then it's already black Friday 2022.

Again, you'll tell yourself "At this price with those specs I'd rather wait for next gen 2023..."

I know this is a little off topic, but you folks all seem pretty up to speed on Lenovo deals here. Do they have any solid deals on ultrabooks? Or maybe I should wait until Boxing Day?

Not necessarily. I am happy with my purchase (original 792$) but if I couldn’t get that, would definitely wait, not necessarily until next year / next model but for a better deal .

Not willing to pay another 55% = 500 bucks (tax included) for another 8GB of ram that I can get for 40$ and a slightly better cpu that my day to day use won’t benefit from.

Seems they are rotating deals. Now there's a P14s with 5850U, touchscreen and 16GB ram but lower brightness and SSD for $1036

Does the T450 not have fully socketted RAM? So if 4G has been pinching, you could have updated it.
My older T series had expensive FullHD screens that looked poor. Is your T450's screen OK?
I find the Haswell processors still serviceable so I'd expect the T450's Broadwell processor to be OK.

No question that the T14 gen 2 is a step up.

I don't mean to offend you, but imagine if everybody did what you've been doing. We wouldn't have free returns.
