I believe this was the same one we all purchased back in late Feb/early March for $549.

This is the same one I posted a while back for $550, I'm using it atm and it's a really great machine (although I'm having trouble with one of the speakers, could have been my fault)

heres the post I made a while back
lenovo-canada-epp-discount-lenovo-ideap ... 3-2358343/

edit: apparently looking at the two there is a slight change which is this one uses Ryzen 3500U Pro while the one posted a while back is a regular 3500U. Looking at the bench marks there isn't any differences though. (https://www.cpu-monkey.com/en/compare_c ... 3500u-1102)

Consider the HP in the Costco August flyer: i5-1035G1, 8GB, 512GB, FHD IPS, 2 year warranty, $640

I would not pay $600+ for a last gen Ryzen 5 laptop unless it had a GPU.

I am looking at that as well but the loud fan complaints are throwing me off..need to go in and test but the warehouse is so huge, the noise will be drained out

The noisy fan of this HP model is not a big issue, as you can set the fan to "not always run" in BIOS (Lots of HP laptops have "always run" as default). Actually the small battery could be the deal-breaker.

Upvoted. Price is not bad but still a little bit overpriced for me. Love its design and colour. Would've bought if it were Ryzen 4500Face With Tears Of Joy.
