Not sure if there's a direct link, seems like a well reviewed and spec'd laptop at a decent price, no this isn't a budget laptop.

So I picked up Dell: https://www.dell.com/en-ca/shop/dell-la ... _sb_h101be from last sale.

Got it for $1249 (Taxes in ) With 3 years ONSITE warranty. Love it so far. Since I switched from a 14 Inch laptop, I find it bulky.
Yeah, 15s are too large and this is for my son at school.

Maybe I've been lucky, but I have say 4 laptops going on 5-7 years at home and have never had issues. All Lenovo.

If course with this one it will break at 13 months...

What does depot warranty entail? I live in a very remote area where canada post barley gets the mail to me.

Getting anything above 1080p on a 14" laptop display is a waste of dollars and battery life.

Someone with 20/20 vision experiences the full benefit of 4k on a 14" display at 26cm. 1080p caps out at 52cm

Google says that the typical sitting distance from a laptop screen is 20inches, or 51cm.

Literally no point to anything higher than 1080p at this size.

I have Lenovo X1 carbon with a 4K screen and a other Dell Lattitude 7240 or whatever 2in1 with 1080p. Each are 14", the Carbon is a Gen or 2 newer.

The only difference I can tell is that the Lenovo gets about twice the battery life. Otherwise both screens are gorgeous. But I reach for the Lenovo way more often than the Carbon as the battery life frustrates the hell out of me.
