Lens skirt alternative for P&S?

Greetings all!

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a lens skirt? While there's the original, at $50 USD + another $20 USD to shop, it seems a bit much for a piece of cloth and some suctions, but maybe I'm not really knowing?

I don't really take too many photos, but it would be nice to have this for when travelling and not having to worry about reflections when taking photos through windows.
As for my camera, it's a Sony DSC HX-90V.

I've looked on on henry's and not had any luck there, except with lens hoods, which are too big for my camera. Same with amazon, no dice.

Thanks in advance!

You mean lens hood!

Hood does not help with shooting through windows and reflections, it's for unwanted light coming in sideways causing flare.

You could try ebay for knockoffs, but its really hit or miss as fitment could be too tight or too loose.

I think the OP is looking for Lenskirt, it's a flexible lens hood that you put up against the window.
I've never used one personally so I don't know how well they perform.

I've never seen that before!!

All I've seen is reflection removal post processing, that's going to be in next gen smartphones.

Yep, that`s correct lens skirt or something like it. (not a lens hood)
Just wondering if anyone has recommendations for an alternative? The original one seems a bit overpriced IMO.

Thoughts?
And thanks in advance.
