This model is being discontinued, other retailers are out of stock at $849, Leon's is 100$ cheaper

Try shopping around with smaller appliance retailers (Cdn Appliance source, Billa, etc). Mind you I found you need to go in person to negotiate a good price. In the last couple of years I purchased a number of appliances for below advertised “sale” prices. For eg this LG washer/dryer was $1400+tx.

3600 is the newer model (new meaning been around for already 3 years). I doubt there is much difference. However, if you plan to stack the dryer on top of the washer then only certain models can stack together.

It's a good washer. I bought the essential similar wm3700 a couple of years ago (has wifi we don't use) and very happy with it. It was one of the top rated models in Consumer Reports.

We bought a WM3090 and DLE3090 pair from Costco back when Ontario had the Eco rebate. It was around 1,300 after tax, delivered and hooked up.

The 3090 is the same thing (same specs/cycles/functions) except it has a white door trim.
