If you can find the 65" B7 for $2500, buy it (unless you're a heavy HDR gamer). I expect the B7 may be sold out by Black Friday, at least at any store priced that low (London Drugs in-store).

On the not-quite-Black Thursday (Nov. 23) last year, the B7 65" was $2700 at Visions (as mentioned by Hibbing).

The B7 is very good, but the C8 is even better for various reasons. I don't think we'll see the C8 at $2500 on Black Friday, and plus that is almost THREE MONTHS from now. At $2900 or lower right now it is a steal.

Consider yourselves lucky to have access to pricing that low for the improved C8 this early in the year. I paid $200+ more at $3100 a few weeks ago for the 65" C8 (although a few people got it a bit lower than that), when the advertised "sale" price was at $3700. Now the current advertised "sale" price is at $3500, or $200 less. I have no idea if the dealer cost a few weeks ago was significantly higher than it is now but regardless, $2900 and lower now is just an awesome price for the C8 65".

Note though that the advertised $3500 sale pricing ends on Sept. 6. I'm not sure if the <$2900 deals will still be available after Sept. 6, until the next sale. Same goes for the 55" model.

The one Visions store will be under $2900 until September 6th and the 55" at $2100. I will hear that day if they will be able to continue. BF pricing is already set and NO you will not see $2500.

The best price I have seen in Vancouver so far for a 65" B7 is for the $2,500 I bought it at London Drugs on August 25 for their weekend sale. I called in this weekend on Saturday September 1 to see if the price was lower than $2,500 so I could price match it but the price was $2,500 again.

Over the past 2 weeks the price of the B7 has gone back up during the week to it's regular sale price of $3,000 or $3,100. Depending on the quantity still available I would expect London Drugs to lower their price again to $2,500 this weekend. I will call them again this upcoming weekend to check their price on the off chance that their price is lower than the $2,500 I paid on August 25.

As Euqw alluded to, pricing is subject to inventory still being available. London Drugs had the 55" B7 for $1,700 2 weekends ago but as far as I can tell the 55" B7 is now sold out at London Drugs.

The rep (Raj) said two left in stock at warehouse. Act fast if anyone want it, they close in an hour! Guess it can be done at any branch since mine wasn't in stock at the store (Burnaby)
