Anyone still had any luck at Visions Vancouver for a great deal on 65 C8 probably like under $2800? I got a $100 voucher I could use for it.

I just came from the store and the guy working there showed me the price list. He also said the next time the c8 will be on sale is Sept 28th. Just not sure what the price will be.

Top Choice still doing 55C8 for $1850 -- no stock however and 3 week pickup leadtime.

$2122 after tax and EHF.
RFD is love. RFD is life. I wish I had an RFDer for a wife.

No, don't pay $800 more for a C8.

The C8 does have some advantages over a B7, IMO they are definitely not worth $800.

Teletime in Mississauga has the 65 C8 for $2750 plus the environment fee with free delivery. They are offering additional extended warranty for extra 4 years for $289 not sure if I should get the warranty as I'm pretty sure it wont cover burn in.
Thanks for the update. Will add the link to your message in the first post.

Yeah i heard it has a better processor and less chance of burn-in? But I am sure the B7 is already better than any high end LEDs out there no? Is it that bad B7 or people are just overexaggerating? I am just basing off some comments from reddit.

In case anyone cares, my opinion on the 65 C8:

The blacks are amazing, it immediately came back to me how my Plasma Panasonic looked 8 years ago but with steroids.

1000 nits is quite brigth, I can’t imagine how the Q9FN 2000 nits feel like, I need one of those eventually

The motion is smooth but have very occasional hiccups, probably from the streaming

The only thing I was expecting was more HDR impact, I don’t have a better HDR than this to compare with, but I do have some high end PC monitors and coming from those the picture is not as impressive (except for the blacks) but if you come from a 1080p Led this TV will for sure feel unreal

A couple of movies that give a great impression of the black levels are Marvel’s Hulk 4K blu ray and Netflix’s Babadook ( where grayish blacks ruined my first watch)

Cheers

I hear very good things about the C8 but however would you recommend going for a 65 B7 to save cost?
