so called up visions in Vancouver and they were ok with me exchanging my B7P bought a month back for a brand new C8 at $2800 like next week. I bought the B7P just under $2500 + extended warranty of $369 though I am not sure if I can cancel the ext warranty and just pay for the $2800 + taxes on the C8. Should I go ahead or keep B7P ?

I was sold on the Sony 65X900F (sight unseen as my bro got a 900E) with an additional soundbar (Sonos beam) until I saw the LG C8 at my local Costco ($3500) which got me reconsidering

Then this morning, I was killing time and hit a 2001 Audio Video and the sales guy swayed me on the LG C8 and offered me price protection (30days) and said the C8 is dropping to $3000 for BF (assume this is the same for Costco). Question is do I go for the X900F and sound bar (possible two play 1/ones added) or splurge and go for the (no sound bar) Thanks in advance to
$500 off doesnt seem like much of a BF sale. Swear I've seen it at $500 off throughout the year.

If they are willing to exchange it for a new C8, I would do it. Better processor and other upgrades over last years model.

Any ideas on who can calibrate TVS professionally within the GTA. Just bought a C8 (Thanks Hibbing). It’s a great machine.

If they refund or let you transfer the extended warranty on the C8 I'd consider it, but if they won't do that then you wasted $369 for no reason, and I'd stick with the B7.

Isn't Vision's policy if you don't claim it you get credits back?

I would have to top up with another $300 i guess.

If people are interested in the 65” C8 can you not price match at visions from the following?

https://xdmedia.ca/collections/oled/pro ... ai-oled-tv

This would put it at that $2800 price point. No idea on xdmedia in any way but that shouldn’t stop a pricematch. As well free shipping so again this should be possible.

Am I missing something?

Guys the Pannys can be had at GREAT pricing as well just hit me up. They do not get publicity because they do not sell in the U.S. and for various reasons I prefer L.G.
How much for the Panasonic?

I gotta say I'm loving my new 65C8. Huge upgrade over my Sony KDL-40NX700. I still have trouble streaming 4k videos on YouTube even though it's connected to my Rogers gigabit internet through a wired connection (my PC on Wi-Fi does just fine). One major annoyance is that when I turn on the TV, it always defaults to live TV and I always get static because I don't have cable/satellite and I have no video sources from any HDMI inputs either. Apparently there's no way to change this.

"The Panasonic FZ952 has the most intuitive user interface of any TV we have tested this year"
https://www.avforums.com/review/panason ... view.14474
"For smart TV the Panasonic yet again uses the My Home Screen 3.0 suite based on the Mozilla FireFox platform of open sourced code. While it is not as advanced or as slick as LG WebOS and Tizen from Samsung, it is simple to use, intuitive and has everything you could possibly need, bar one or two apps like Now TV. It is also fast to use with no lag and no crashes during our testing period. We liked the simplicity of use and the way the buttons on the remote are grouped which makes it second nature for the correct inputs when required."

Sorry, but WebOS and the magic remote that come with the LG's are killer. It's one of the reasons why I went with the C8. I bought a UJ6500 around the Summertime, and was blown away by WebOS. Simple and not a pain to use. The magic remote makes the experience even better.
