What about the 55" C8?
Top Choice has been able to do less than $1900. It's been higher at $2100 for Visions Kennedy, but perhaps they'll come down a bit now.

Check the first post for exact post links.

Visions I know is an authorized LG dealer, but I know nothing about Top Choice. Someone in this thread said Top Choice is also an authorized LG dealer, but I haven't checked.

EDIT:

$2000 now at Visions.

Don't count on big decreases.

I'm guessing what might happen is that some of the big retailers will have better advertised pricing, but those advertised prices will still be higher than what we are paying now street.

Won't be a lot lower than now and there's price protection.

No room on that it's $2000 but with price protection and exchange privileges if you get a bad screen. Can also get accessories and soundbars at RIDICULOUSLY low prices as a bonus with a TV purchase.
If possible most peoples should try to stretch to the 65".
I thought we could play ball at $1850, are we back up to $2000 now?

The report of $1850 for the 55" C8 is from Top Choice, not Visions.

Anyone confirm for 100% sure yet that they are LG authorized? Actually, I'm not even sure if that matters with LG, but it's a consideration. Someone earlier in this thread said Top Choice is LG authorized, but I haven't heard anything about it since.

Right, the Brampton joint, I swore off Brampton businesses but this price may drive me back (there's little place in this world for generalizations).

They're listed as a place to buy LG TVs on the LG Canada site, so that has to mean they're authorized.

OK thanks. Good to know for next time. ;)

EDIT:

I have confirmed this myself. Top Choice is listed on the Where To Buy map at LG's website. I will add this to the first post.

Basically whatever you can negotiate. Personally I just use my credit card to get an extra year of warranty, for a total of 2 years.

Where do you see $2000? I can't find that price on Vision's website.
