I went to visions today and bought the c8 65” for $2775. They were out of stock though and they should have 18 more coming in by end of the week. I am the 5th in line.

They also said they would give a good deal on wall mounts but I don’t know the exact price since I didn’t buy it yet. I will do some research to see if the one they sell can do a 90degree swivel wth the 65” and get it when I pick up the tv if it can.

https://m.visions.ca/#/home-productdeta ... ctId=33105

They also had extended warranty that converts into a visions gift card at the end of the term if you don’t use it. Seems like a good deal but knowing me I will forget about it in 5 years so I didn’t take it.
is this visions in Vancouver?

Irrespective of anyone getting this deal, this is a great contribution from Hibbing to RFD. Thanks again. Appreciate the effort.
Thank you!

Any 55” C8s still in stock at visions? And sorry took a break from following the latest prices and can’t find it in the last few pages of posts...

Price was $2000 at Visions Kennedy but a few negotiated cheaper pricing at Top Choice.

Dunno stock.

If you value their warranty and return policy then Costco is an option, but it’s quite a premium over pricing in this thread.

I really want to pull the trigger on the 65" C8 for $2775...but I am honestly worried about the drive 4+ hours back to Northern Ontario.

I would have to use my Pickup Truck and have read not to transport laying down...so I'd have to somehow transport upright.

Option to put boxes around it? (Perhaps buy a sound bar and other audio?).

Anyone pick this up and transport it a long distance?

I'd pay for them to ship, but from what I gather they don't.

Not worth a four hour drive IMO. What happens if you’re unlucky enough to get a defective unit? I guess you can wait for in-home warranty service but personally I’d like the option of a return. Also what is the geographic coverage range for in-home service?

In your shoes I’d probably order from Costco or else try to negotiate with another store for delivery.

Can be transported flat at slower speeds for short distances but LG doesn't recommend it. In fact, LG indicates right on the box that it should be upright.

London Drugs at Calgary had C8 65 at $2800 during the past long weekend, this week there is no sale, Visions won’t price match since they ask for price proof. Out of stock in Best Buy, however I have seen a couple of in-store demos with burn in which is making me doubt.
Was the $2800 an instore posted price or did you have to haggle for it? Cuz if the price was posted and you took a picture of the sign I don't see why Visions wouldn't price match it.

Your post got mixed into the person's you quoted. So, I've pulled it out for others to see. :)

Thanks for catching that. I've edited my original post to end the quote properly.
