Depends on the location/rep. Had no issue getting Burnaby location to beat 65 B7 LD price ($2450).

$3000 for the 65" C8 isn't bad. That's actually less than I paid way back, just after I started this thread. ;)

If you got that on the phone, you might be able to whittle that down a bit in person. I wouldn't pay $3000 for the 65" B7 though. The B7 would have to be considerably cheaper.
Actually that was for the 65" B7.

2700 for a 65 B7 isnt a good deal considering people have been getting the 65 C8 for 2750 at visions.

The B7 for $3000 is not a very good deal.

The B7 for $700 is not a terrible deal, but I agree that if you can find the 65" C8 under $2800, that's a much better deal.

The absolute most I can do is $2500 so I am either going to wait till a 65" drops to that or just get a Vizio P Quantum OR 55" OLED.

Are people still getting the 65" C8 for sub $3k?

For $2500 you can get 65 B7 at Visions or London Drugs.

I can't confirm this since the sub 3k prices have mainly been in the GTA but I would assume that they are still available? If not BF is just around the corner.

I was quoted 65 B7 for $2490 and 65C8 for $2950 at Calgary Visions after some haggling. I picked B7 considering my usage and price difference.

Ready Player One 4K Dolby Vision looks great on these TVs. Too bad the movie plot is just OK IMO.

LG must have a lot of stock left of the B7. Best Buy now has the B7 65" for $2999.95, which means it shouldn't be that hard to get the B7 for several hundred dollars less elsewhere.

LG-sanctioned retail pricing on the B8 and C8 right now is stupid high. I wonder if we'll see another LG-sanctioned publicly advertised sale at the end of the month.

Slightly unrelated - but can I have the experts weigh in on Samsung 65 NU 8000 - 2018 model available for 1500 at visions?

My C8 has some blueish tone in the vertical edges of the screen, it is not burn in, it looks diffuse, similar to light bleeding, it is more noticeable in light colours, have you guys noticed something similar in yours?

that's a good price for the 65C8, they wouldn't barge in for the C8 so I went with the B7, no regrets
