[Walmart] LG B2 55 inches $1199 [in-store]

I walked into a Walmart in Mississauga and noticed the LG B2 55 inches being $1199. AFAIK, this may be the ATL on this TV as it was the same price during December 2022 at some retailers. This seems to be the price in-store across all Walmarts.

Overall, this could be a good deal for those waiting out for a reasonably priced OLED. It currently has a higher rating than C2 on Rtings and is only missing a few marginal features compared to the latter.

P.s. check stock track before visiting your local Walmart for it: https://stocktrack.ca/?s=wm&upc=19517402830

Nice find and good price. Ties what I believe was the all time low when there was a sale at Costco around Boxing Day when it first came out. I'm very happy with mine.

Upvote for comprehensive post including RTINGs review and stock track listing!

Solid deal, im not sure how it rates higher than the C2 as it has a slightly better chipset and better peak brightness.

Im really hoping the A80K starts going on clearance price soon!

Burn in is becoming a less of an issue with more recent models, take it for what it's worth ... but I don't own one at the moment.

"Pixel Refresher

There are a few different 'pixel refresher' functions that run on LG OLED TVs. An 'automatic' pixel refresh runs when the TV is turned off after four hours of cumulative usage. This requires the power to be connected, and LG has told us that this takes between 7 and 10 minutes to complete. As a result, this pixel refresh is automatically run at each power cycle of our test (4 times per day).

There is also a 'manual' pixel refresher function which is toggled through the settings menu. This may take an hour to complete, and we manually run this before taking each set of photos (as described above)."

I bought the 55" B2 a month or so ago from Costco, been a fantastic set so far. I find it's snappier compared to my 65" BX OLED. Now I debate going to my local Walmart and buying this and returning the Costco set...

Yeah I paid the $1397.99 price at Costco, but then I bought the warranty through Costco...thinking it might not be worth it despite saving $300 (price difference of TV + warranty)

Oos in BC Lower Mainland stores. If you want warranty or easy 90 day return for dead pixels, you're still better off buying at Costco.

Why does it seem like people are so sensitive on these boards sometimes? It's discouraging others from sharing their finds :(
