LG G7 codenamed "Judy"

https://www.theverge.com/circuitbreaker ... rumor-judy

It's apparently coming in June with a 6.1" display. It sounds like it's going to be really nice and with Samsung not changing the design with the S9, this is a real opening for LG.

Also of note, the G6 will be getting an Oreo 8.1 update and also enterprise grade support. This is a good move for LG and hopefully it is part of a new improved commitment to updates.

I am also hearing that the G6 will get the Oreo update in about a week here in Canada. Fido's OS upgrade page says "March".

At less than half price..sure... wouldn't you?

But today's the day the big G6 supporter says Oreo will be released

I'm just hoping for a security/update patch that can fix the idle battery drain that makes my battery go down 2% a hr overnight even with greenify lol

When the G7 drops to the $350 price range of LG flagships after a few months it'll be a worth considering just like the G6 at $260

I'm a big fan of LG phones but my personal prediction is that the G7 is going to be a total flop. I don't like the notch and I don't like the bottom bezel. If LG was going to copy Apple they should at least get it right. I don't know why they were copying anyone, either. The design of the G6 is outstanding. They should have built upon that instead of copying Apple (badly).
