They don't do online/instore price matching.

Folks, I'm going to curate the first post, add accessories. The only bad thing I have to say about this monitor is that the stand sucks, the similar LG UK6300 (2018) panel had the same issue and I replaced the stand... and I'm loving it. I'm literally typing this on that monster.

And yes, you do get used to the size.

For those using big screen TVs as monitors, what's your viewing distance?

2.5' to 3'.

I have the 2018 version of this panel, same size.

How's this compare to the Haier 4k?
Do you notice a difference for basic browsing on the internet ? No gaming. No Photoshop work.

Aka if I have a Haier. Is this worth switching to? If so in what ways.

I want to confirm whether the function of splitting the display in multiple screens using the LG software works with this tv?

The Haier 4K panels have not been well received here on RFD. Are you using one as a monitor?

I imagine it'll look significantly better, but you could've gotten lucky and received a higher-grade panel while playing Haier's panel roulette.

I'll withhold judgement until you report back.

What software if you don't mind me asking.

Windows 10 has window docking to do 2x2. Mosaico is a paid alternative with more sophisticated options.

This isn't a Sony Trinitron circa 1993 with an electron gun cathode ray tube assembly.

I wish I could favorite posts in a thread.

Although is a great deal, this TV as a monitor has some color issues according to some reviews I checked. So, it’s a no in terms of photos/videos editing where color accuracy is important.

Plus it’s not a matte screen, as most good photo editing monitors are. Anyhow, it is still a great deal at this price if you don’t care about the points above.

Agreed this is not a proper video or photo editing monitor.

For the price though, it's a great productivity panel and enjoyable for gaming, outside of competitive fast paced FPS (not my game). Still great for casual FPS.

Anno 1800 looks great on the 2018 version of this panel.

We've come a long way since my 42" Insignia 1080p TVAM from 2015.

"LG UHD TV also combines LG ThinQ with the voice assistance of the Google Assistant* and Alexa** to control your entertainment and smart home. It’s TV that transforms your experience. *Service limited to certain languages. Some features require 3rd party service subscriptions. **Available via firmware update later in 2019."

That means it can connect to GA and Alexa and not that GA and Alexa can/will be added to the tv right?
