Life insurance+ Critical illness (Quebec)

My sister is looking for a basic life insurance+ critical illness. She is self-employed, she doesn't want these things where you pay extra and they "invest" a portion of what you pay for.

Quebec province.
Any recommandation?

Thank you

Basically you're going to be looking or term insurance on both the life and CI side of things if she doesn't want anything extra. In terms of the life and CI, do you know how much she needs? Why she's getting it? If she's self-employed, disability insurance is a lot more important than critical illness. Maybe sure your sister gets a proper needs analysis done before committing to any type of life insurance.

Unfortunately I don't have any recommendations for Quebec, hopefully someone else here does

Take a look at National Bank 10 year term life insurance.

It's really cheap for females and it includes critical illness insurance.
