Light in the Box - Real experiences/reviews??

anyone ever buy anything from this website? It looks pretty legit but when I look at the prices, it looks kinda fishy...looks like a dealextreme or focalprice on steroids.

Just looking to hear shoppers experiences on this website if they have any at all..

hello, this website looks good easy to navigate, loading time is very good. its product prices are my under reach. But unfortunately i never buy any thing from here. i will revisit very soon for buy some think.

I never buy from it, but I know it is a Chinese online store and it is famous in China...

I ordered a custom made dress from light in the box and received it eight days later. Its beautiful, fits perfectly and is even better then I expected. The only surprise was the brokerage fee I had to pay for Fed Ex to bring it through customs was $57.00 on a $130.00 order. Even with the brokerage fee, I feel I still got a good deal and I would gladly purchase from them again.

Eish that's the part i'm worried about, the brokerage fees and taxes and duties. Since they said they will use whichever method is best for the customer, you never know how you'll get it (regular mail or via a FedEx/UPS/DHL shipping method). And the home decor items I wanted to buy were well over $20...

Instead of ordering something more expensive (like a wedding dress), I tried ordering some clothes first. A jacket and 2 sweaters for ~$70. It arrived superfast by DHL (within 1 week for free shipping that was supposed to take 10-20 business days), but with $53 in duties. FYI, quality was fine.

I've ordered from Mini in the Box but I'm not sure if it's the same company or just has a similar name.

Anyway, I only ordered a few keychains and cables for my phone but it all arrived very quick from Hong Kong, only took about 2 weeks (counting non business days) to arrive from Hong Kong.

Worst company ever. Their items are cheap and junky. Don't be fooled by their fancy images, the items you receive are nothing like the images on their web site. Shipping takes over a month. The stuff comes from China. Cheep Chinese junk

I have ordered several things, they want a 20.00 join up fee for faster service. I ordered 2 shirts on 12 30 2022, im still waiting for them to prepare them for shipping. Today is 01 10 2023. I didnt join up so i have wait for usps to deliver 5 days after it is shipped. Dont use it, use amazon, its far more reliable.

Don't buy from this place. Bought a smart watch for Christmas last year. Lasted 3 months and stopped working. No warranty and offered no help to fix it.

A favorite hobby when I was younger was to watch those early Android tablet/phone demos on Light in the Box. Ah, the generic music!

I paid for a pair of Cargo Shorts on May 30th. They said it was delivered on June 28th. Problem is, I never got it as it was delivered to the wrong address. PayPal refuses to refund my money. Stay away from LightInTheBox and PayPal.
