Lindt: 5 Lindt Excellence 100g Bars - $10 (January 12-14)

Expiry:
January 14, 2018
Lindt this weekend has any 5 Lindt Excellence 100g Bars for $10. Pretty good price, I think the lowest I've seen them offer it (recently) was $2.50 each.

Probably clearing out the holiday stock.

A couple days after Christmas, I bought a couple of these for $9.99 at Superstore. The only difference is the 5 bars were packaged as one giant chocolate bar package.

If you went to shoppers during their boxing week, all the lindt excellence bars were priced at $1.82 (100g). Still a decent deal, but I was able to grab whatever flavour I wanted and expiration dates were between mid to late 2018

Lowest I've seen at SDM was $2.99...
so 5 for $10 is a pretty decent deal to me

Thanks OP! They aren't clearing out stock, they are celebrating the new 78% dark chocolate bar. The sale is for any 100g Excellence bar (not the ones with the fillings) they have in store. They were on sale for $2 each at Loblaws sometime in December, but it's rare to see it this low. I asked the cashier and he said he's hardly ever seen them at this price.

So of course I went and stocked up, their 85% dark is great for chocolate cravings while I'm on my silly low carb diet. =) I suggest you check the expiry dates of the bars you buy because they vary. The bars I picked expire in November, but I saw some that expire in July.

They were priced as 'clearout' even though they were not actually being cleared out. The chocolates are usually considered as Christmas season merchandise despite being regular stock. Seasonal clearout is controlled by head office who typically marks all seasonal items down with little consideration. They were $1.82 for the whole week.

Every once in a while Fortino's, No Frills, probably Superstore as well, has them for 3 for $6...which works out the same per bar.

YMMV, but I saw these in my local Save On Foods for $4.50 (at the end of an isle). I also got the last "Excellence package" (small and large bars, total of 515 grams) for $5.00 in their holiday chocolate clearance section.
