Liquid Metal or graphite thermal paste for old MacBook Pro?

So I got a old 2010 and a 2014 MacBook Pro and I’ve been seeing some online post saying that I should change the thermal paste (cause my MacBooks are loud with the fan and etc) so which brand what should I do etc? I’m a novice but I’m good with my hands so I can apply the liquid metal pretty well I assume.

Thank you for your input in advance :)

I switched to liquid metal and it's been fantastic. The CPU won't even go over 70c now! Not sure why they don't make it stock, given how horrible apple products are thermally.

Because over time it can cause some serious non-reversible issues.

Honestly any decent paste, put properly, is gonna be better than Apple's. Metal pastes are not really worth it anymore as the difference is minimal in real world tests. I would go for the best non-conductive paste.

The heat sink is is copper, not aluminum so there shouldn't be any issues. Surrounding area sealed with clear nail polish so it could not get out even if it tried. The results have been night and day!
